Best Tesla Model 3 Rims From Reputable Brands
You probably know that already, but I like to start by stating the facts:
Nothing will enhance the look of your Model 3 better than the right wheel and tire combo.
I say that not only from an automotive blogger’s point of view but also as a fellow Tesla Model 3 owner. I spent a week or so to find wheels for my wife’s car.
It was more challenging than I expected. So many wheel manufacturers are targeting Tesla owners, and at the same time, finding photos of the different rims mounted on a Model 3 is really hard.
So, I decided to use the knowledge I gained to cover the topic and hopefully make your life a little easier. I wrote a Best Tesla Model 3 Rims roundup.
If you still have questions about the bolt pattern, center bore, wheel offset, square, and staggered setups, check out my Tesla Model 3 fitment guide.
How I Picked the Best Tesla Model 3 Rims
All websites covering the Tesla Model 3 aftermarket wheel topic recommend the same brands. T Sportline, Vossen, Martian, or OHM wheels, to name a few.
Don’t get me wrong; these are top-quality wheels. I just see no point in writing the same article all over again, and I know that many Model 3 owners want their ride to look different. So, I took a different approach.
I dived into Tesla forums, talked to other Model 3 owners, and picked only wheels from reputable brands with positive reviews to make sure these would fit precisely.
Most of the wheels you’ll see here are 19 inches.
In my opinion, this is the perfect wheel size to enhance your Tesla Model 3’s looks and performance without compromising ride quality.
Here are the Tesla Model 3 OEM wheel/tire specs for your reference:
Diameter | Width | Offset | Tires |
---|---|---|---|
18-inch | 8.5″ | +40 | 235/45 |
19-inch | 8.5″ | +40 | 235/40 |
20-inch | 9.0″ | +34 | 235/35 |
Of course, not everyone shares my opinion. I know some of you are looking for a bigger wheel size or have the Model 3 Performance. Don’t worry; a couple of 20-inch options are included, and…
When you click the "See More Wheels" red button, you'll see all rim sizes and models offered by this brand.
As you’ll notice, the majority of the options I recommend are from TireRack. This is the website that I trust the most when it comes to wheels and tires. Never had issues. They make the online shopping experience very simple and often have great deals.

Best Model 3 Wheel & Tire Package
I wasn’t planning to include any combos, but considering the individual prices of Tesla wheels and tires, this package seemed like a great deal. If I come across more like it in the future, I’ll add those as well.

BBS CI-R 19″ Wheels
Overview
If you’ve ever searched for new wheels for your car, then BBS needs no further introduction. The German company combines race-proven quality with innovative manufacturing technologies to be one of the market leaders for decades.
The CI-R wheels are a prime example of BBS’s commitment to excellence. It consists of a pressure-cast surface and a flow-formed rim structure. It comes with a stainless steel rim protector. The one-piece wheel has a well-optimized weight.
Wheel Specs
Size: 19×8.5″ / 19×9.5
Offset: +36 / +40
Weight: 25 Pounds
Color: Silver or Black
My Take
When it comes to mid-priced 19-inch Model 3 rims combining appealing design and top quality, I think the BBS CI-R is one of the best options on the market.
The fact that the company used its CI-R model for the introduction of the BBS Unlimited at the 2022 SEMA car show speaks for itself.
The 19″ rims you see here use the Precision Fitment System (PFS). So yes, those will perfectly fit the wheel to the center hub on your vehicle’s axle.
If you like the design and seeing those wheels on many other cars doesn’t bother you, the BBS CI-R might be the right choice.
Enkei Tuning TY-5 19″
Overview
While you might have never heard about Enkei, the Japanese company has been specializing in lightweight wheels for seven decades. Currently, they have factories in nine countries, producing over 25 million units per year.
Most of the Enkei rims are still made in Japan, followed by their U.S. and Chinese-based facilities. They have a Tuning, Performance, and Racing line with around 100 wheel models designed for Tesla cars with positive feedback from owners.
The Enkei TY-5 model is made with the most advanced technology and combines a classy five-spoke wheel design with a modern twist.
When it comes to quality, Enkei tests its wheels according to its own Spec-E standard, which has higher requirements than the JWL. I believe that’s a good sign of confidence in the technology and the quality.
Wheel Specs
Size: 19×8″ or 19×8.5″
Offset: +40 or +35
Weight: 24 Pounds
Color: Pearl Black
My Take
Considering the design, quality, weight, and customer reviews, I rank the Enkei TY-5 as the best wheels for Tesla Model 3 owners looking for affordable options.
My buddy had the TY-5 on his BMW M4, so I decided to see if Enkei sells these in the right specs for the Tesla Model 3.
They sure do, but at the time of writing, there were no photos of Teslas on Pearl Black TY-5 19-inch wheels, so I used a picture of his car.
Those 19s are available in hyper silver and gloss black, but I believe their all-new pearl black finish is the most appealing. Here is a quick video to see the rim up close.
OZ Racing Hyper GT HLT 19″
Overview
OZ Racing has been around since 1971. The Italian-based company is one of the leaders in the alloy wheels market. OZ produces a wide range of aftermarket products and is a major supplier for OEM manufacturers and motorsports.
The Hyper GT is made using OZ’s HLT (High Light Technology) process, which involves a flow-forming technique that creates a lighter and stronger wheel. The lightweight construction helps to improve both handling and performance.
Designed to be flexible, the Hyper GT wheels will withstand the rigors of high-speed driving without compromising on ride comfort.
Wheel Specs
Size: 19×8.5″
Offset: +40
Weight: 22.35 Pounds
Color: Star Graphite
My Take
The OZ Hyper GT HLT alloy wheels are a high-performance option. Perhaps not the sleekest design, but that’s well compensated.
The wheels have an average rating of five stars on all factors, including durability, fitment, performance benefits, and ease of installation.
I’m actually considering OZ Racing rims for a winter setup. A couple of friends use their wheels, and I haven’t heard any complaints yet.
Overall, the OZ Hyper GT is a great choice if you’re looking for top-quality and excellent craftsmanship in a mid-price range.
FAST EV 19″ Wheels
Overview
The Canadian company FAST Wheels participates in the market with over 60 models. These rims are offered by their sister brand FastEV and are exclusively designed to fit all trim levels, including the Tesla Model 3 Performance.
Constructed using the Flow Form technology, the EV01 and EV01+ rims are strong and light. The removable inserts are not just for aesthetics but also for efficiency. Using the factory lug nuts, wheel caps, and tires is recommended.
After testing the EV01 on a Tesla Model 3, the company claims that the special aerodynamic design delivers:
- same range as with factory wheels and caps installed
- 4% better range when compared to other alloy wheels
Wheel Specs
Size: 18×8.5″/ 19×8.5″
Offset: +35 / +40
Weight: 21.4 / 24.8 Pounds
Color: Satin Black or Titanium
My Take
To come up with a futuristic design while matching the performance requirements of an electric vehicle must be a big challenge. It seems like the guys at Fast Wheels knew what it takes to handle it.
With unique styles and colors to choose from and removable inserts, the EV01+ rims are a great way to personalize your Tesla Model 3.
I didn’t see any complaints during my online research. The FastEV line has been highly appreciated by Tesla owners since its release back in 2019. Many folks share these are also great for a winter setup.
In my opinion, the only drawback is the shipping. These are not available for international delivery, and It will take a couple of weeks to get them in the U.S.
But hey, finding the right rims for your Tesla Model 3 is not an easy task. And if you really like those, you know what they say: Good things happen to those who wait!
Best 20-inch Model 3 Rims
I ended my list of 19-inch wheels with BBS, so why not start the selection of 20s with the same brand? It saves me some time with the introduction.
BBS SX 20″ Wheels
Overview
The BBS SX 20-inch rims come in three different finishes, with my favorite being the Machined with Anthracite Accent. The company guarantees that paint quality exceeds OE manufacturer specs for durability and longevity.
A final protective clear coat layer ensures that these wheels will be easy to clean and look like new for years to come. The SX wheels are extremely strong, thanks to the optimization of the wheel properties and the back-milling process.
Wheel Specs
Size: 20×9″
Offset: +42
Weight: 35 Pounds
Color: Silver, Platinum or Black
My Take
In my opinion, the BBS SX rims are a good choice for Model 3 owners who want bigger wheels without the disadvantages of the staggered setup. This means you can rotate the tires and maintain a good range of your vehicle.
Thanks to a fellow Model 3 owner who posted this photo on one of the Tesla forums, I’m able to show you how these 20s from BBS look with and without chrome delete.
The price for such stylish, durable 20-inch wheels like BBS seems great on my watch. The only disadvantage I see in the SX model is its weight.
But I suppose the German engineers have a solid reason for that.
Forged One Competition FF10 20″
Overview
The Forged One Competition is the only wheel manufactured in China on my list, but there is a reason for that. First, they are based in South Bend, IN.
Manufactured using the most technologically advanced wheel procedures available in the industry, these rims are durable, strong, and offer optimal performance.
The significantly lighter weight of those 20-inch staggered wheels is achieved with the use of a full block of 6061 aluminum placed under heavy pressure.
Wheel Specs
Size: 20×8.5″/ 20×10″
Offset: +35 / +45
Weight: 21.1 / 22.2 Pounds
Color: Satin Black or Graphite
My Take
The FF10 forged wheels are a great choice for Tesla owners looking for lightweight rims that perform beyond measure. After checking so many wheel options, I’d say these come at a reasonable cost for a staggered setup.
I couldn’t find a good photo of a Model 3 on FF10 wheels, but I think this Model S shot will give you a good idea of how they look.
If you have an RWD Model 3, you’ll benefit from better traction at the rear while enjoying the aggressive appearance of big tires at the back of your car.
My Aftermarket Wheels Selection
Some of the Tesla Model 3 wheels you saw could be ordered as a staggered setup, with or without tires, and you can choose from different color options.
All the products on my list match the Tesla Model 3 bolt pattern and are the same or close to the OEM width and offset. Those with a different center bore will have center rings included.
Even with the most affordable wheels, you shouldn’t have any fitment issues. Unless your car is lowered too much or you combine wider wheels with thick spacers. If so, you must verify proper clearances, especially to the rear fender.
Some Alternatives
Okay, I guess you didn’t find the right 19″ or 20″ wheels for your Tesla Model 3. Perhaps you want wider or narrower wheels. Or something fully forged in matte black.
I get it. Finding the perfect fit matching your budget isn’t always easy. Here are a few alternatives for your Tesla Model 3 that I feel are worth mentioning.
Different Wheels
If you’re looking for a different look or style for your Tesla Model 3, exploring different aftermarket wheel designs and finishes should be your next move.
A wider range of wheel & tire packages with perfect fitment is available at TireRack. I honestly don’t think that there is a better online experience. All you have to do is enter your vehicle year/model, and voila.
Their filters help you narrow down the list quickly and easily. Oh, and don’t forget to read the customer reviews.
Wheel Covers
A cost-effective way to change the appearance of your Tesla wheels without having to replace them entirely. Wheel covers are available in a variety of designs and finishes. From simple solid colors to more intricate patterns and designs.
Wheel covers can be easily installed and removed, making them a great option for those who want to switch up the look of their car on a regular basis.
There are many more affordable Tesla accessories to protect your wheels and add some style. See the best options on the market in my wheel accessories round-up.
Wheel Spacers
These are used to adjust the offset of your wheels, allowing for a wider stance and improved handling. Spacers are a good option to improve the looks of your Model 3 without buying aftermarket wheels. Read more on the topic.
If you want to try that, make sure you choose a reputable brand. Wheel spacers are available for all Tesla models. The good ones are made of high-quality materials such as aluminum and are designed to be lightweight and durable.
Model 3 Aftermarket Wheels FAQ
I hope that my selection of top-rated Tesla Model 3 rims helped you learn about what’s on the market and at what cost.
In case you want to dive deep into the Tesla customization topic, here is a good read.
Now, let me answer a few more aftermarket wheel-related questions to make you feel even more confident in making an informed decision.
What Wheels Can You Put on a Tesla Model 3?
You can put a wide range of wheels on a Tesla Model 3. As long as the ones you like have the same bolt pattern (5×114.3mm) and are close to the factory offset (+30 to +40), you shouldn’t have any fitment issues. Make sure you choose the proper size tires.
What Size Rims Are Best for Tesla Model 3?
The best size rims for a Tesla Model 3 depend on your personal preferences. Some prefer more aggressive setups with a wider wheel at the rear to hide the fender gap and improve handling.
Others choose to downsize wheels and tires for a smoother ride and better range. I believe the answer is somewhere in between. In other words, 19″ wheels with a square setup.
Do Lighter Wheels Affect Tesla Model 3 Range?
Yes, lighter rims can improve the range of all Tesla models by reducing the car’s overall weight. It’s important to choose high-quality wheels that are durable and strong enough. Note that the impact on the range will be minimal without additional mods like lowering springs and body kits.
