Wheel covers are one of the most popular customization options for Tesla owners, and there is a good reason for that.
It’s a cost-effective upgrade, allowing you to protect your wheels from dirt, dust, and debris while adding a personal touch to your vehicle’s appearance.
Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners can choose from a variety of wheel cover options.
Sounds great, right? Everyone likes having a choice.
But finding the best Tesla wheel covers is a challenge.
I’ve already covered most wheels-related topics. You can find it all in my Tesla customization articles, from fitment and buying guides to top-rated rims, spacers, and all kinds of accessories for your wheels.
But I know that not everyone is into aftermarket wheels, and since we had Kavanic hubcaps on our Model 3 for a while, I decided to do a wheel cover round-up.
How I Picked the Best Tesla Wheel Covers
When choosing a wheel cover for your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y, there are a few things to consider.
- Make sure the cover is the right size for your wheels.
- Choose a product made from high-quality materials.
- Pick a cover with positive feedback from other Tesla owners.
I’ve spent a lot of time online to identify the best in terms of durability, design, and price. Then, I compiled a list of the top-rated options available on Amazon.
Of course, you’re going to see the Kavanic products for both Model 3 and Model Y, as those are the ones I have first-hand experience with. Let’s get into it.

Amazon’s Overall Picks
I understand that not everyone will have the same taste as I do or like what Amazon promotes as the best Model 3 and Model Y wheel covers.
Don’t worry. I’ve included a few options for each Tesla Model, and there are many different designs and patterns to choose from after you open each product page.
Best Wheel Covers for Tesla Model 3
Whether you are looking for protection or simply want to add a touch of style to your vehicle, I’ve got you covered.
I hope that the Model 3 wheel cover designs I recommend, my thoughts on each one, and the customer reviews will help you find the right one.
Remember that each brand offers more options. Open the product page and you'll see them!
Kavanic 18-inch Uberturbine Cover
The Kavanic Uberturbine hubcap is a replacement accessory for the stock aero covers on Tesla Model 3 Aero wheels. These are also made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene and cover the entire rim, preventing any curb rash damage.
Kavanic claims that their Model 3 cover will not only protect your Aero wheel but also improve your Tesla’s efficiency.
I didn’t notice any positive impact on our Tesla Model 3 range, but that’s not why we purchased those anyway. They did a good job enhancing the looks and protecting the rims, so I’m happy with what we got for our buck.
You can further enhance this cover by ordering a custom center cap logo in white, red, or black. As I mentioned in my Kavanic review, $10 for stickers isn’t the best deal, but I think it’s better to do that rather than ordering the caps separately.
Overall, I’d say it’s a great combination of better design and protection for those who want to stick with their Model 3 Aero wheels.
I also like that they offer a single hubcap as a spare.
Terfulnel 18-inch Wheel Cover
Terfulnel promises a perfect fit for Model 3 wheels and easy installation of their cover with a snap-on mechanism. You can choose from three different patterns to make your Tesla stand out from the crowd.
Made of long-lasting ABS material, these 18″ hubcaps are resistant to water and high temperatures. Your wheels will be completely covered to remain scratch-free and protected from any other damage.
Considering the three cool pattern designs, the 2-year warranty offered by the company, and Terfulnel’s great customer service:
I feel very confident to recommend those hubcaps.
Mayde 18″ & 19″ Wheel Covers
Mayde offers the biggest selection of colors and patterns for both the 18-inch Model 3 Aero wheel and the 19-inch Sport V2 wheel. The hubcaps you see on the photo are for 19s, but once you go to their product page, you’ll see all options.
The Mayde hubcaps are made of premium ABS and extend past the wheel’s edge, covering any existing rim damage you may have. Keep in mind that these come with installed foam strips, which makes the cover stick out about 1/4 inch.
If you’re into uncommon colors, the Mayde covers are a great way to customize your Tesla Model 3.
One thing I want to mention is that no center hubcaps are included, and yours may not match.
Best Wheel Covers for Tesla Model Y
If your Model Y stock covers are damaged, or you want to personalize your car without spending too much, there are some very nice options to choose from.
You’ll see my take on each item, and I also encourage you to read the product reviews.
Remember that each brand offers more options, which you'll see once you open the product page!
Kavanic 19-inch Wheel Cover
Kavanic offers three different cover designs made for Model Y 19-inch Gemini wheels. All of them come in matte black, with my favorite one being the Blade style. That’s the one you see in the photo, and the other four can be seen on the product page.
The material used is very light for better efficiency, and the full coverage of the rim offers reliable curb protection. The Kavanic 19-inch Model Y hubcaps are precisely molded to ensure perfect fitment, and you can pick a color for the center cap logo.
I can’t guarantee you’ll see any range improvement, as we didn’t with the Kavanic hubcaps we have on our Model 3. Assuming the quality will be the same, I believe you’ll be happy with their Kavanic Model Y wheel covers.
I picked the 19″ Blade hubcaps as this is their newest style and looks great.
The interchangeable symmetry design wins another point, and the price is a real bargain.
Limsas 19-inch Wheel Cover
Limsas only offers a couple of wheel cover designs for Tesla in their Amazon store, but I think this one is worth mentioning. It’s a direct replacement for your Model Y Gemini hubcaps but in Matte Black, and buyers love it.
Most products you can buy have a large gap between the hubcap and the wheel. The guys at Limsas have reduced it and strengthened the clips. It means that you don’t need to use sponge tape, and the wheel covers look better on your car.
Adapting the original Tesla Model Y 1:1 molding, team Limsas promises a perfect fit for their wheel covers. And that’s what customers report.
I added those to my list because the price is great, and you also get the center cap logos.
Terfulnel 19-inch Wheel Cover
I don’t think there are other companies offering as many Tesla Model Y 19-inch wheel cover patterns. I really like the design and glossy black finish on those, but you can check all the other styles. I’m pretty sure you’ll find one that meets your preferences.
When it comes to quality, Terfulnel feels confident about its products and offers a 2-year warranty. The premium ABS material should last for a long time without getting scratched, and the snap-on buckle makes those hubcaps easy to install.
A premium product that fits perfectly and is priced right is definitely something to consider.
I can tell you from personal experience that even if you face an issue, Terfulnel’s exceptional customer support will take care of it.
Klutchtech 19″ & 20″ Wheel Covers
Klutchtech offers several wheel cover options for Tesla Model Y, but I think their 20-inch Tornado-style hubcap is the best. The aerodynamic design looks amazing and should reduce wind resistance and noise.
The 20″ Model Y wheel cover proved to be efficient when tested by Klutchtech. It extends to the tire to better hide and protect the rim. The solid material will last for a long time even if exposed to weather factors.
Honestly, I couldn’t find many customer reviews on the 20-inch cover. That means not many people have them, which is good for those who want a unique look.
Plus, the package includes two sets of emblems in different colors.
A Quick Buying Guide
When it comes to choosing the best wheel covers for your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure satisfaction.
Before you hit the buy button, make sure the cover you picked matches your Tesla wheel size. There are different sizes for both Model 3 and Y, so pay attention to that.
All the items on my list are durable and can withstand different weather conditions, but if you prefer a particular material, read the description.
The design of the wheel cover is also important. You want to choose a design that matches your personal style and complements the overall look of your Tesla.
Generally speaking, wheel covers are a simple DIY Tesla modification. However, you still need to be careful not to break something as there are no spare items included.
