Best Tesla Steering Wheels for Model 3 and Model Y
As you probably know, the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y steering wheels are compatible.
I have some cool products, including two Yoke steering wheels. You can customize most of them using carbon fiber, perforated leather, nappa, or alcantara.
Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel
There are two reasons for this carbon fiber steering wheel to be number one on my list. I have it on my 2019 Tesla Model 3, and right now, it costs less than what I paid for it.
Overview
Obviously, I’m not into the Yoke steering wheels. What I like the most about this Tesla Model 3 carbon fiber steering wheel is the racing-style shape with a flat bottom.
The materials and stitching are excellent. You’re keeping the original Tesla steering wheel controls and airbag. It comes with detailed installation instructions.
Please note that the Rekudo version fits the 2021 or earlier Tesla Model 3 or Model Y with a non-heated steering wheel.

Yoke Steering Wheels
After many complaints by Tesla Model S/X owners and all the noise on the media, the Yoke steering wheel was due for a redesign. Tesla offers it again on these models but as an option.
For now, the aftermarket remains the only option for Model 3/Y owners. So, I’ve included a couple to meet different budgets and preferences.
Yoke Steering Wheel by Carbar
Overview
The first one is offered on Amazon by a brand called Carbar. It’s the only Yoke steering wheel with many positive customer reviews and a reasonable price I was able to find.
That’s a more basic version of the Yoke steering wheel for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. What I mean by basic is that there are not many customization options.
You can only choose between Black and White leather. Carbon fiber or alcantara aren’t available at the time of writing. Adding the heating component will bump the price a bit.
If you want a Yoke steering wheel just for the shape and better view of the dash, this one is the right choice.
Amazon’s fast delivery is also a plus.

Yoke Steering Wheel by Hansshow
Overview
Hansshow’s Yoke steering wheel for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y comes in three different shapes. You can choose between Ellipse, Trapezoid, and Inverted Trapezoid styles.
It’s also fully customizable. Normal or perforated leather, Nappa in White or Black, different carbon fiber finishes for the trim pieces and the sides, custom airbag cover, and logo. If you need some inspiration, just go through the customers’ photos.
This Tesla Model 3/Y steering wheel also comes with a heated future by default. If your vehicle doesn’t have a heated steering wheel, don’t connect the wire.

There are not as many aftermarket steering wheels available for Tesla Model S and X. However, I found two with positive owner feedback on the Hansshow website.
Round Steering Wheel for Model S/X 2021+
Obviously, this steering wheel is designed for Tesla Model S and Model X owners who don’t feel comfortable driving with the original Yoke.
Overview
The round steering wheel will match your OEM core, so functionality will remain as it is. Thanks to the flat bottom, you won’t lose the extra space for your legs either.
When it comes to customization, this Tesla Model S and Model X aftermarket steering wheel has the most options I’ve ever seen.
Normal or perforated Black leather, five colors for the Nappa, matte/gloss carbon fiber, and different stripes you can add. No airbag cover, though.
It’s not easy to find a nice replacement for the Yoke on 2021+ S/X Tesla Models.

Suppose you want to adapt the racing-style design of the Yoke steering wheel and give your Tesla Model S or X a modern appearance. Check this one out.

The 2012-2020 Model S/X Yoke steering wheel is crafted for precise fitment. As seen in photos sent by Hansshow customers, it looks like a factory rather than an aftermarket piece.

Those of you who have heated steering wheels must use the original Tesla Model S/X harness and module. The airbag cover and middle trim panel are also not included.
